Lobster Fest starts today

Lobster Fest 2007 kicks off today under gloomy weather. The sun is trying to peek through the clouds though so we’re hoping it’s successful. Today’s events include:
- Dennis Point Wharf – Largest lobster wharf in the province, all day
- 4pm BBQ & Lobster Boil
- 5pm Music and Dancing by Dixacadie Dancers
- 6pm – Official opening
- 10pm to 2am is the Mega Dance Party at Club Social de Clare

Its so funny to hear other people having fests on long island we have a huge thing called strawberry festival
We have a couple here in town during the summer, later in July it’s Seafest, and last month in Kentville was the Apple Blossom Festival (about 2 hours away)
