GPS technology (Global Positioning System) has come a long way in recent years and has also become very affordable. Worried about your vehicle getting stolen? Get a hidden GPS tracker for it and the police should be able to recover the vehicle rather quickly.
Rocky Mountain Tracking Inc. is now using GPS for real time tracking purposes. The racers in the New England Rally are all equipped with GPS units so that fans of Rally racing can follow the vehicles course from start to finish, rather than just seeing glimpses of the race in person or on TV.
Another use for GPS systems that has grown in popularity even in little ol’ Yarmouth is Geo-caching. Hidden in random remote areas are a wide variety of containers with items tucked safely inside, waiting to be discovered and have new items added to them. Geo-caching websites contain GPS information on where the items are hidden, so all you have to do is grab your GPS and go hunting. It makes for a great weekend past time for family and friends.

GPS is very useful specially the ones that are put on the Car dashboard. it can really help you drive on unfamiliar places.,-:
