Despite having horrible weather this weekend, including thunder storms, the Shark Scramble was still held. 143 people participants entered the contest spanning 21 boats. 72 Blue sharks were landed and 3 Mako, the biggest being a 335.5 pound blue shark. The big fish landed the winner a trophy and $5000. Prizes were also awarded for 2nd, 3rd and 4th places, as well as for Highest Boat average and a random drawing.
- 1st Place ($5,000 prize): 335.5Lb (Blue)
- 2nd Place: ($2500 Prize): 316.8 Lbs (Blue)
- 3rd Place ($1,000 prize) : 301.4 Lbs. (Blue)
- 4th place($500 prize): 291.5 Lbs (Blue)
- High average ($1,000 prize): 249.9 Lbs
