UPS

Nope, we’re not talking about delivery services today, we’re talking about Uninterruptable Power Supplies.  A better alternative to a just having a good surge protector is to also have your computer or other important electronics plugged into a UPS.  If there are spikes or drops in the electricity in your home or business, the UPS will help protect your gear by keeping the power level going to your devices at a constant level.

No longer will you have to worry about losing those un-saved documents in the event of a power outage or even a flicker that causes the PC to reboot.  A good UPS can allow your computer to run for up to a half hour during a power outage, giving you plenty of time to save your files and shut things down properly.

Even if it helps you only one time a year not to loose all your working progress, its worth the money. I made my experience with it…
