Forest Street in danger

Well that’s some interesting news that will probably shock the average Yarmouthian. Apparently the ‘big plan’ for Forest Street is to chop down the trees, wide the road, put in curb and guttering and add parking to the side of the street. The reason for doing all of this? Most likely something to do with the fact that it’s a direct link between the Ferry terminal and the Airport. Not that we have any major or consistent flights coming into Yarmouth, just a bunch of seagulls. Not that we have year round Ferry service, that shuts down at the end of the tourist season. So, I don’t know yet, but as soon as I find out more, I’ll be sure to post it here.
