Gossip Girl

214 words eaten alive on September 27, 2007 - Filed Under Entertainment, TV -

Gossip Girl is a new show this season on the CW network, the same network that brings you Smallville, Supernatural and many other good shows. I’m not much of a gossiper myself, but the wife is. Then again, aren’t all women? I know we had several former employees who just couldn’t shut up and would tell you about so-and-so’s dirty laundry whether you wanted to hear it or not. But enough about them, they’re gone and I’m glad.

Based on a series of novels written by Cecily von Ziegesar and created by Josh Schwartz, Gossip Girl is about a mysterious blogger who dishes out gossip on all the happenings around town and in school. No one knows her identity but everyone reads her blog to get the latest news and information that no one else knows yet. Like most ‘teen’ shows, this one will also be filled with sex, drugs and violence, ya know, the typical things that all high schoolers seem to have to deal with on a daily basis.

So if you’re looking for something new to watch, check out Gossip Girl on The CW network on Wednesdays. Now I think I better go into hiding for a while, don’t tell the wife you saw me.
