When you come visiting Canada, leave yer guns home will ya? You won’t be needing them here and if they’re found, the fines are steep. I don’t know if it’s a common thing with religious leaders down there, but recently a Presbyterian Church leader coming across the ferry into Yarmouth was asked by customs if he was carrying a pistol. He said no, but a search revealed that he was in fact carrying a .357 Magnum. The firearm was confiscated and he was fined $1000. As another kick in the junk, he had to pay an additional $1000 to get his RV back.
