It’s pretty bad when a business is better off buying certain things from competitors instead of from distributors. Case in point, the local Shopper Drugmart had a good sale on Pepsi yesterday. 6 bottles for just $1.97, limit of 4 items per person, so of course me and the wife got each 4 on Sunday, and another 4 each on Monday (the 2 days of the sale). I doubt I could get these for anywhere near that price from a distributor, and they normally retail for around $2 a bottle in convenience stores. My trunk is currently full of Pepsi, and it didn’t even cost $50.
