Rubber Check Follow-up

So this evening I had some time and went to knock on the door of the woman who bounced us that check. She acted all surprised to see me and pretended she had just forgotten about it, but I wasn’t there for excuses and told her I needed either the money or the system back, today. She did ask if I could give her a few minutes so she could explain it to her kids, to which I said that’s fine, as long as you bring it down by the time I close.
Around 8pm she came into the store to return the Game Cube and apologized again and thanked me for being patient wtih her. Blah blah blah. Live and learn I guess, definitely not taking personal checks ever again, at least I got my stuff back and it’s still in good condition, still works fine. Finally, something worked out in our favor. Mostly anyway, she did get to use it for 3 weeks for free after all.
