Price Chopper Closing

It looks like the downtown isn’t the only area being affected these days. Although reasons for the closing haven’t been announced in the news yet aside from it being a ‘business decision’, which typically would mean it’s not making money. Price Chopper (owned by Sobeys) is going to be closing in Yarmouth, leaving 32 people out of work. Sobeys is looking at options to help as many of the employees as possible, partly by transferring some of them to the Yarmouth Sobeys store. I’ll take my usual stance and blame it on Evil-Mart.
