Heroes Picking up Steam

Since the first season was my favorite show last year, I’ve been watching Heroes every week again this year. It’s still a great show of course, but I’ve found that this season has started off a little slow. This weeks episode really kicked things up a notch though. Spoiler Alert! Stop reading if you don’t want to know what happened this week. The world is once again in grave danger, as Peter discovered when he accidentally traveled into the future. He’s finally starting to get some of his memory back though and then just as quickly he ended up back in time where he belonged, but, he left his girlfriend behind (in the future).
The real shocker came at the end though when it was revealed that the mysterious Adam is really Kensei, the hero from the past who Hiro was trying to help. Since Adam can’t time travel, that means his healing ability is also causing him to not age and he is now several hundred years old. I expect Claire will be the same, able to live forever.
Suresh is revealed as Bennet’s killer although I don’t think he’s going to go through with it, Bennett is too much of a central character. Any thing’s possible with this show though and I wish next Monday would hurry up and get here.
