The remnants of Hurricane Noel have passed us by with little damage in the town itself. Residents in the surrounding areas are without power however, as falling trees and branches took out some power lines along the way. It could be as late as Tuesday morning before power is restored to some of the areas. Overall, the storm didn’t hit us as hard as expected, winds only gusted up to 86km/h as opposed to the predicted 120km/h. It’s still a little breezy today but the sun is out and it’s a little warmer than the last few days.
