Just in the news today, the entire chain of Rodd Hotels is for sale, including the 2 here in Yarmouth. The Rodd Colony Inn and Rodd Grand Hotel. Rodd Hotels and Resorts is the largest privately owned chain in Atlantic Canada with 10 Hotels/Resorts in the chain. It would seem to be a pretty good indication that things aren’t going well for them.
