I’m actually looking forward to switching from Aliant to Eastlink next week. The business package I signed up for is $30 less for phone & internet, per month, and on top of it the internet is a shitload faster. Aliant business high speed is only around 2 or 3mbit if I remember right, but the Eastlink bundle is 15mbit. Not that I really need that much speed at work, but for those times when I need to grab a bunch of drivers or even just doing windows updates on new computers, it’ll be done so much faster. It isn’t even fiber cable around here, just plain ol’ digital coming in through a co-ax cable. I’m using Eastlink at home already, but since it’s not part of a bundle I only get 5mbit speeds, typically topping out around 500k/sec.
