MSN Viruses on the Loose

Things have been getting pretty busy at the store lately, especially in regards to computer repairs. So far this week I’ve had 5 computers in, all with virus & spyware problems. One of them was particularly nasty and I still haven’t managed to get it all cleaned out properly. So far AVG found and cleaned 9 viruses, SpyBot picked up 1 item, AdAware another 84 items and finally A-Squared knocked out another 174 problems. And still there are 4 viruses that pop up repeatedly, over and over again. AVG finds them, prompts for healing/quarantine but a few seconds later the virus is being detected again. It’s got me stumped. The computer also won’t boot into safe mode, very strange indeed. By the end of the night I was looking for a burial policy of some sort. No, it’s not a new scanner, I just literally wanted to bury the thing and forget about it. Or format the drive, I guess that would be easier eh? =)
