Mooney for Mayor ‘08 : Gator Byte

Phil Mooney has officially thrown his hat into the ring for the position of Yarmouth Mayor and so far things are looking very positive for him. I was invited to join the official facebook group about a week ago and when I first joined there were only a dozen members, as of right now there are 668 members and that number is still growing quickly. It is an open group that anyone can join so if you support change in Yarmouth you should join up now.

His official website, aptly titled mooneyformayor.ca is also now up and running. As I mentioned last time he is campaigning on the three T’s, transportation, tourism and taxes. The first two we are severely lacking and the third we have too much of, I sincerely hope he can do something to improve all three.

Voting will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2008, make sure you’re there!
