She’s Home!

After a long sleepless night in the hospital she would have begged to come home if the Dr. had so much as hinted that she would need to stay longer. Good news though, as soon as the Doc came in to see us he said she could go home today if she wanted to, so we were packed up and gone within an hour and now she’s sound asleep in her own bed.
As requested, the Dr. took pictures of the removed uterus for her to keep, they’re rather disgusting though so I think I’ll skip putting them up on here. I don’t know how big the fibroids inside it were, but the whole package weighed in at 3kg and was around 30cm 15cm across. She likely won’t be near the computer for a few days yet.
As for the nurses, no better and no worse. For the very little help she was getting since last evening, she’s better off being at home.
edit: Apparently we mis-heard the doc as the picture with a ruler in it shows that it was nearly 15cm, not 30. He must have been talking about the circumference being 30cm
