Tomorrow morning, bright and early, Jan goes into the hospital for her surgery. For those that don’t know, she has large uterine fibroids and lately they’ve been giving her some trouble. Due to their size and the way they’ve grown into the uterine wall, the only real option for removing them is to have a hysterectomy. Say a little prayer for her if you’re into that sort of thing although I’m sure things will be fine, she has a great Dr. and it’s a shame that he’ll be leaving Yarmouth at the end of the month.
