Marketing on Facebook

Over the last month or so I’ve been trying to use Facebook to do a little marketing. It’s not too bad, and during the month I only spent a little over $5. Overall I’m not sure how much extra business it’s brought me, but I can credit it with the sale of 10 used Pentium 3 computers, so it was worth it definitely. I really like how I can target the ads I create. I currently only show them to people over the age of 16 that are listed as living in Yarmouth, NS.

With a payout of around .40 a click I get a few hundred impressions a day. People rarely click so on most days it doesn’t cost me anything. Of course it could mean that people just aren’t even noticing the ad. My last batch of ads all had the store logo on them, this time I’ve opted to go a little more generic and see what happens.
