Oceanfront

There’s a lot of ‘planning’ going on in this town lately in regards to the town owned oceanfront property along Water Street all the way down as far as Bunkers Island. Are those tanks on Bunkers even in use any more?
Some speculate that we’re going to get a mega yacht dock, others claim a Casino is coming and I’ve also heard rumor that some of it will be re-zoned for residential so that condos and apartments could be built. Residential would be a great help to do the downtown area in my opinion. People living in the area would help to stimulate the economy since they’d likely be eating and shopping near home. Then again though, this town isn’t known for doing things that make sense.
