Pictures of the Hysterectomy : Gator Byte

As most know by now, my wife had been in for an operation a month ago, followed up by an emergency surgery 10 days later due to some complications. She’s been back home for 2 weeks and getting better every day, but she isn’t coming in to the store very much so far. Before the surgery she insisted that the doctor take some pictures for her, and he did. She has posted them on one of her own blogs, Desperate Housecows. DO NOT click that link if you are weak of stomach! The pictures are of her uterus which weighed 3kg (almost 7 lbs) and measured 6″ across. They didn’t bother to cut it open since they were removing the whole thing, so we didn’t get to see what the actual fibroids looked like.
