160 Gb PS3 Coming Soon

80gb PS3′s will soon be dropping to the $399 prince point, I’m not sure what will be happening with the 40gb units. I expect they will drop the price to $349 until the remaining units have been sold and then it will be discontinued. Recent news of a 160gb PS3 coming in November lends credence to that assumption since Sony has never kept more than 2 current SKU’s on the market. The 160′s will be $499 and offer the largest storage capacity of any current console.
