American Dollar Gaining Strength

For the last couple of weeks I’ve been keeping an eye on the American dollar since it was steadily rising for a few days in a row. It seems to have settled around the 1.06 mark which is about 6 cents more than it was worth during most of the summer. I held on to the USD that we did get during the summer since it was only a couple hundred bucks total, so now it’s worth more than when I received it. Which way is the dollar going to go from here? I’m not in to futures trading or anything but my guess is it’s going to keep going up from here, eventually.
