Wrath of the Lich King Release Date

The upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, finally has a release date set. November 13, 2008. One detail I wasn’t aware of until today is that you’ll need to have Burning Crusade in order to play WotLK, it won’t work without it. Kinda sucks for new players who may not be interested in BC, but with the WoW Battlechest being pretty cheap it’s not too bad.
I’ve begun taking pre-orders for Wrath but I can’t guarantee I’ll have it on release day. Being a small business at the end of nowhere means it typically takes a day or two longer to get things, even shiny new things like Lich King. I also don’t know the price yet, but I expect it will be around $50 to $55, just like Burning Crusade when it came out.
