The Mega Yacht Dock

Well, I just found out that Yarmouth does in fact have a mega yacht dock now. It was put in this summer and after seeing a picture of it in the Vanguard I was like, WTF? THAT’s a mega yacht dock? That little strip of wood floating in the harbour?!? After seeing the way this town wastes money I shouldn’t have been surprised, but I almost fell out of my chair when I read that this project cost $324,000! And you know what they charge per day for a Yacht to dock? $4.50. Yeah I’m scratching my head over that one too. That’s 72,000 days worth of docking. 36,000 if they manage to get 2 yachts in at a time. Uhm, yeah, I just don’t know what to say anymore. What the hell is wrong with the people running this town?
