Xshot – Take Better Pictures of Yourself

Taking pictures of yourself tends to result in very cheesey poses where your arm is stretched out toward the camera and your body tends to get twisted into weird angles. Using a camera with a timer and tripod can make for some good pictures, but it’s a hassle to set up and move around for getting different shots.
Now there’s a little rig called the X-Shot and I can’t believe it took so long for an item like this to come along. Basically it’s a metal stick with a screw on the end like the ones you see on camera tripods. You just attach your camera to the stick (either digital or film will work as long as it has the mounting screw hole), set the timer and then hold out the camera to get your picture.
