I just don’t understand the continuing appeal of the Nintendo Wii. This is the 3rd Christmas since it’s launch and once again they’re impossible to find. From what little I’ve played of it it feels very gimmicky, not something that would hold my attention for very long at all. I’m not alone apparently, everyone around my age who’s owned one has sold it off after just a few months. But having said that, I rarely see used ones for sale so most people must be hanging on to them.
I believe that Nintendo is mainly targeting the consumers that aren’t typically into gaming, older people and young kids for the most part. Myself I like the XBox 360 although a PS3 would be just fine too if I didn’t already have several games for the XBox.
