Debit Machine

We own our debit machine while most stores and businesses rents theirs. The debit machines are different from the POS systems that one uses to record your sales but it is a must to have in any businesses. Some 5 yrs ago, we were approached by a company that sells debit machine that if we paid for it for 5 yrs, at the end of it, the machine belongs to us. Little did we know .. that after 5 yrs, we still had to pay another $300 to buy out the machine. On top of it, since we no longer have to pay for it, the support is not there anymore. So for those who are approached to buy their own debit machine, my strong advise to you is not to, else you will never get the latest upgrade and if you needed them badly, you just have to pay for it.
