New Phone

My old phone served me well, had it for about 5 years and while it does still work, the screens on it are kinda messed up. I have to keep taking the battery out in order to reset them if I want to be able to see the call display or the number I’m dialing. So after checking out the new stuff at Rogers I settled on the new Nokia 6790. It’s a slide phone with a full QWERTY keyboard which is great for sending messages, and a 2 megapixel camera built in. The picture quality is still pretty horrid when compared to our Canon digital camera, but it’s a hundred times better than what the old Samsung phone produced. I think a big problem with camera phones is the lack of a flash and optical zoom. But when you cram everything but the Kohler faucets kitchen sink into such a small device, you have to sacrifice on the quality of some items.

If I wanted to spend the extra money on a data plan I could also use this phone to browse the internet, check emails and do my banking. It’s got quite a range of features built right in. It also has a Micro SD memory slot so I can load it up with music and pictures.
