Debit/credit machine

You can’t really do business these days without having a debit/credit card machine, cash is great but a lot of people prefer plastic these days. I don’t mind debit cards, the fee is only 12 cents a swipe, but the credit card processing fees are absolutely crazy. It wouldn’t be so bad I guess if I was doing a higher volume of credit transactions, but in an average month I only put through a few hundred bucks on each type (Visa/Mastercard) so the fees are upwards of 8% to 10% once everything is done. It really makes me wonder if it’s worth it to keep accepting visa/MC here.
