Children’s Parade Will Lead Seafest

The children’s parade was supposed to lead the opening of Seafest today but both the parade and the Mayor’s picnic was canceled because of the rain. Several customer had walked in and asked if the parade was canceled because they had said there was no mention of it on CJLS. I was kinda surprised too – but we had seen it on NovaNews therefore we were aware of it.
The funny thing about this town is – there is no back up plans in case of rain – it’s either canceled or walk in the rain like last year – during the real parade on Saturday. Good thing – talks like how to keep trim and suppress appetite still went on despite the heavy rain at the hospital – else some people i know won’t be too pleased. Anyhow, this year Seafest theme is Carnival By The Sea – don’t look too, too decorative on any of the windows of the businesses on Main Street – I see some decorating like good ole Wayne from the hair store – a few store away from us – quite festive there. The dive store was decorated too – when we drove by this evening during supper. I will go walk around tomorrow and take some pictures of the windows. Stay tune – for the pictures.
