Shoplifters

First things first, we did NOT stage these videos, the footage is 100% real. These people were caught on camera and reported to the police. Months later when apparently nothing was done about it, we got fed up and printed out pictures to put on the wall and on our website. Shoplifting in our store has been practically eliminated since we put the pictures up.

September 21, 2007 - It’s been over a year but we finally have some new shoplifters to put up. First the guy tried to steal a power supply but when someone got his attention he put it back, then wandered down back and stole some blank cassettes. Value? Less than $20.

Edit Jan 11, 2008 - apparently this fine upstanding gentleman (whole stole DVDs from us, and later came in to get violent over his picture being on display) was underage at the time he committed the crime and his mommy has a problem with us having his video up on the website. I have agreed to take it down because I didn’t know he was underage and the law protects these innocent little angels while us evil shopkeepers get the shaft we so deserve. Good job mommy, you’ve raised him well.

Here’s some other shoplifters in action.

Here we have (name deleted) stealing a 4 Port USB Hub valued at $35.

YES BUDDY! WE DO HAVE CAMERAS, IF YOU WERE ANY CLOSER IT WOULD HAVE KICKED YOU IN THE NUTS!

I can’t understand why people are doing something like that! More understandable to me is when a person is hungry and don’t have money for food. But still it’s a crime, I know. But stealing something like that? For fun or what? Maybe someone is addicted, a kind of sickness.
